About Diaspore

• Diaspore is an hydrated oxide of aluminium and a
  valuable ore. With some iron and silicon
  impurities, this efficient mineral appears in
  white, grey, pink, and sometimes little greenish
  and yellowish.

Structure

• Diaspore occurs as lamellar or scaly masses, and
  also as flattened crystals. It is actually a
  decomposition product of aluminium bearing
  minerals, and resembles closely with Brucite in
  appearance. exist as the thin veins or geode like
  structure.

• Diaspore is a dimorphous form of product, which
  is basically used in the manufacturing of high
  alumina refractories because of high heat
  resistance. It has a high alumina content with
  low iron.
