  • Solvent Extraction technique ensure industrial
    purification, extraction and recovery of metals
    in the such as uranium, copper, nickel, cobalt
    and rare earths, from solutions.
  • It utilizes a special reagent as a solvent to
    ensure the transfer of metal (to be extracted )
    from one liquid media to the another liquid
    media.
  • The two liquid phases used in the extraction
    process are immiscible that ensure the formation
    of two separate phases.

  • The feed solution should not be miscible with
    another liquid phase so that the extraction of
    the metal can take place with effective measures.

    separation, and environmental improvement.

    extraction technique include Sweetening of
    gasoline by extraction of sulfur-containing compou
    nds separation of vegetable 
  • oils into relatively saturated and unsaturated
     glyceride 
  • esters recovery of valuable chemicals in by-p

    aspects. It is commonly used in the during the
    purification of the  organic synthesis and in
    analytical separation of the mixtures in order to
    remove one or more constituents.
