  • Understand how oral and nonverbal communication
    patterns vary from culture to culture.

    misunderstanding that occur in written and oral
    intercultural communication.
  • Appreciate the role that values play in
    communicating effectively with persons from other

  • Understand how individualism and collectivism
    play a role in cultural values.
