  • Cleaning desks each night should be a spray
    bottle available for classrooms to spray and wipe
    down desks

  • Success is determined by knowing where you are
    at and where you want to go - knowing what areas
    you are strong in and what areas you would like
    to improve. Self-Reflection is important to
    success and professional growth
  • Complete the Personal Goal form by Thursday,
    September 3rd.

  • Contact parents
  • Positive contacts build relationships
  • Make early contacts when there are issues
  • 1st day of class Shock and Awe
  • Begin with examples of what the students will be
    able to do. If there are advanced classes show
    them those examples, too.
  • Sell your class
  • Save the rules to the end or even the next day.

  • Be respectful of your students and expect them to
    demonstrate respect as well
  • Pretend you like every student, especially those
    you dont
  • Enforce the hat policy
  • Dont send students out of your class without
    their planner signed make sure their names are
    on it
  • Send students without passes back to their class
