- 1.5 generation is defined as
- Those who were NOT born in US
- Those who entered US prior to age 17
- Those who defined themselves as being Korean in
American Community Survey (ACS) conducted by the
Census Bureau

- As 2004, the United States Census Bureau had
counted - 300,991 1.5 generation Koreans
- 52.5 female
- Average age of 24
- 31.2 under 17 0.7 over 55

- Among 18 and over, 51.1 are single and 42.5 are
married - Between the ages of 18 and 30, 86.5 of Men and
66.9 of Women are Single. - 64.1 are U.S. citizens
