- The Middle Peninsula Regional Alternative
School is a DOE grant-funded alternative learning
environment for middle and high school students
who have been expelled or have long-term
suspensions.

7Curriculum Method of Instruction
- The curriculum is SOL-aligned core-content
instruction and SOL testing preparation - (Math, Science, English, and Social Studies).
- The preferred method of instruction is
small-group with individualized assistance.
Hands-on technology-based delivery and
remediation is also practiced.

The 2004-2005 beginning enrollment was 16
students in grades 6-12. A total of 36 students
participated in the first semester. Current
active enrollment is 29 students.
