• Case Study
• Task time recorded in seconds
• Took more time for certain gestures
• Diagonal gestures more difficult
• Gestures depend on remembering.
• Errors due to recall or execution
• Frustrated due to misrecognition
• Tapping preferred

• My Evaluation
• No clear guidelines as when to use what
• Cells too small especially for LaunchTile
• Prone to errors
• Participants were reluctant to use gestures
• Tapping was favored
• Certain gestures are not that easy to use
• Usage studies with wider and varied population
• AppLens was found more easier
• Ability to use all 9 application tiles
• Faster data access
• LaunchTile was more complex
• Blue button was the best part
• Slow and unintuitive

• Enhancements
• Using display as feedback to cut down on errors
• Touch screen that lets you feel the motion of
  thumb on the screen
• A combination of gestures and tapping needed
• The interface can be made more simple
