2007-2008 An International Exchange
for Young Professionals
UNDER
The Rotary Foundation Program
32What is a Group Study Exchange
An activity of the Rotary Foundation Exchange
between two rotarian districts Cultural and
vocational exchange for young business and
professional men and women Who may participate
to a GSE program ? Team members should be
between 25 and 40 Two years in professional
occupation. No need to be university
graduate. They should not be family members of
rotarians up to 3 rows. Members of ROTARACT can
also subscribe to this activity. To get away to
travel on request date. Able to speak and
understand english as well french and dutch
33Duties for all candidates for a GSE
activity Must get away to travel on requested
date. To agree to follow 3 - 4 months
training. To visit their sponsor rotary club
before departure. To participate at local Rotary
meetings, make conference about their country and
business occupation, the district 2170 and the
rotary club sponsor they are the representatives.
To have two professionnal days per week To make
speaches in D2170s rotary clubs about GSE
experience after return of ISRAEL.

Rotary Foundation expenses Transportation for
the team travelling . Free accomodation and meals
at rotarians in visited district. Individual
Expenses Personal insurance (compulsory). Unifo
rms. Gifts for families where the team
stays. Passeport, visa and vaccination
fees. Personal expenses
35How to be a GSE candidate ?
Rotary clubs of district 2170 organize the search
for a candidate team member. Candidate to be
introduced to the regional delegate of the GSE
area. (GSE - D 2170 is divided in 4
areas). Rotary sponsor club and candidate fill
in the Registration documents to send back to GSE
Committee. Rotary sponsor club may have several
candidates. IMPORTANT DATES Ultimate date

be our guests in Belgium in April - may 2008
