- One certification from a single test performed on
the base of European Standards or agreed
Technical Specifications. - Introduction of European Quality Label (EFS)
- Multiple certification to ISO 9000 from a single
audit. - The availability of a consistent set of European
Standards and agreed technical specifications. - The identification of needs needs of the NAs,
Manufacturers and the Market, in order to fulfil

- We have a Chief Executive Officer who is
responsible for the business of Euralarm and
driver of the issues of Euralarm in accordance to
the general purpose. - We have an office in Brussels
- We will lobby in the European Parliament,
European Commissions, CEN and CENELEC. - We cooperate closely with CEA, EFSG, EFSAC
- We cooperate with Eurofeu, EuroSafe, ARGE, CoEss
in achieving their goals on one stop testing, - We support National branch Association in
legislation, application guidelines, national
construction codes on national level. - We will encourage schemes on European and
National level for a higher competence on
engineering, installing and service and
maintenance of fire and security systems.

- What Euralarm requires from NAs
- Active participation in National standardisation
body by - Giving the necessary technical input
- Influencing for a positive result on voting
procedures for European Standards and/or
Technical specification - When ENs and TSs are available, initiating the
withdrawal of conflicting national standards. - Adapt European Application Guidelines or have
National Application Guidelines making reference
to products which are tested to European product
standards - Lobby for national legislation in which reference
is to the Application Guidelines.

- What Euralarm requires from NAs
- Set up of a scheme for certified design
engineers/companies - Set up of a scheme for certified
installers/companies - Set up of a scheme for certified service and
maintenance engineers/companies - Set up of a certification scheme for installed
systems (In which is stated that the system is
designed, installed and will be maintained and
serviced with certified competence. - Benefit is higher level of quality, more
confidence for user and authorities - These schemes create a chance for service
contracts which will increase your turnover and
benefit.
