showed 1. 85 of US physicians are Internet
users, an increase of 875 increase over

daily and 33 used Email to communicate with
patients, a 20 increase in three months.
Doctor/patient Email use was unmeasurable in
1997.

FLORENCE, Italy -- President Clinton called
Sunday for developed nations to ensure their
citizens have access to the Internet "as
complete as telephone access," saying that would
dramatically reduce the income gap between rich
and poor.

greatest domestic problems facing developed
countries is the "digital divide" that gives
