Lindsey received the Be Kind to Animals Kid
aware because she was already dedicated to
helping animals. I know this because when Lindsey
received a picture of a harmless animal in the
mail, she did everything in her power to help.
Though she could not get a job at an animal
shelter, (she was only ten at the time) Lindsey
wrote to a newspaper proposing a column featuring
a different homeless pet every issue. The column
was successful and Lindsey even wrote the first
article to it herself. Despite this she wanted to
do more to help, with a little assistance, she
created a PetsPal website featuring homeless
pets. Almost 300 animals were adopted through
this website. Lindsey has done more for animals
than most people do in a lifetime.

Lindsey received this award, because of what all
she has done for homeless animals. Like when she
volunteered to help at animal shelters. Or when
she made her own website. The last reason why I
thought she got the award was because she helped

Lindsey received the be kind to animals kid
award because a person who does that much for a
animal or any animal deserves and award like
that. Another reason is just because not any
person would go out and do that much for an
animal.
