Title: Jens European Travel Experiences
1Jens European Travel Experiences
- Were going to take a journey across the Atlantic
from North America to Europe - Well begin in London and end in Amsterdam
- Enjoy!
2When I was in London
- I took this boat from the Tate Britain to the
Tate Modern via the Thames River
3And also studied William Hogarth, a British artist
- This was his home, where a portion of his
engravings, etchings and paintings are displayed
4I went to Paris via the Eurostar Chunnel train
and viewed these two museums
5Seeing the Eiffel Tower at Night was spectacular
- In the evening the light bulbs attached to the
tower would twinkle every ten minutes
6But it was the kisses from Paris that stole my
heart
7Versailles Gardens and Grounds
- The Versailles Gardens are a meticulous design
exemplification of the French Monarchy from the
seventeenth century
8Things that I ? about the Gulbenkian in Lisbon,
Portugal
- This Museum is placed in and among a public
garden - The vegetation was plush and overgrown simulating
an oasis - There are other museums also housed in the park
9No, this isnt the IKBLC!
- The renovations are being done to the Sagrada
Familia Church in Barcelona, Spain
10Firenze (Florence), Italy was my favorite city
- Standing on top of the Duomo, which overlooks the
city
11The most authentic Italian phrase I heard was in
Naples
MAMMA MIA!
12This is one of the many views of the Vlatva river
in Prague
13The Munchen (Munich) Beer Gardens are beautiful
and one of the main attractions of the city
14In Berlin its imperative to view the numerous
historical documentations that exist in the
large city
15Did you know?
- Amsterdams domestic architecture tends to lean
forward at the top.
- This was in order to have a pulley system to
bring larger and heavier items to the upper
stories inside the house
16Here are some examples
17Thanks for taking the journey with me
- All of the images are from my personal collection
- All of the sounds are authenticated by me
