• 20 years experience within industry, prior to
  starting WDC
• Identified un-served/under-served market of high
  net worth individuals (20 million, net worth)
• Had the support and encouragement of former
  employer when beginning the business

What we learned from Dave

• Know where your money will come from
• If AT ALL possible have some contracts set up
  before you even start
• Be THE expert in your field/business, then hire
  on help as revenue allows
• Avoid losing control of your business to
  investors
• START SMALL!! If possible, put just your own
  money at risk and LEARN.
• Anyone can be successful in business, if they
  can just stay in business long enough to make
  enough mistakes.
