1Setting up an Outlook Account Once in Outlook
Express, open the Tools menu and choose Accounts.
2Choose the Mail tab and select Add
3Enter your name Click Next Enter your Email
Address Click Next
4Enter your mail server, mail.uwf.edu, for
example (note you may not have an Outgoing
mail server) Hotmail and MSN are the only
FREE Email accounts that can be accessed through
Outlook.
5Once you have set up an account in
Outlook Express, you may set Preferences. Open
the tools menu and choose Options. Look around
in the options box and choose the options that
best suit your needs.
6More Preferences
Under the signatures tab, you may set a
signature that will appear at the end of all your
emails. For example, God Bless, Your Name
7Under Tools, Options, and Compose You may select
a type of stationary that will Appear in the
background of your email.
8- There are several ways to create a new email
- Choose File, then New, then Mail Message.
- Choose Message, then New Message.
- Click the Create Mail button.
9View your Address Book by clicking the
Addresses button. You may add new address by
clicking the New button. Once you have names
in your address book, you may send mail to these
people by clicking on their name then choosing
tools, then Action, then Send Mail.
10Create an Attachment by clicking the
Attach Button and then selecting the file you
wish to attach.
