WHAT ARE THE HOT ROD MAGAZINE DRAGS In the 60s,
the HRM Drags delivered the musclecar wars at
their finest. Riverside Raceway was the home of
some of the quickest and fastest doorslammers
battling for Ford, GM and Chrysler. It was such a
good idea that HOT ROD is bringing them back.
With the advent of new musclecars from Detroits
Big Three that re-kindle the muscle car wars, HOT
ROD has joined forces with Promedia, the
promoters of the National Mustang Racers
Association (NMRA), the National Muscle Car
Association (NMCA) and the LSX Shootout.
Cooperatively, were going to produce the HOT
ROD Magazine Drags as a feature event of the
Inaugural Nitto NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals on
August 6-9, 2009 at zMax Dragway. Bruton Smiths
four-lane drag strip is the host of this event
and as the premiere facility in the United States
today, were certain that the muscle car wars are
back, regardless of what youre hearing out of
Detroit. Your company has the opportunity to be a
sponsor of this event and be involved at the
ground floor of what is certain to be the first
time that Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs
battle it out head-to-head in order to determine
who has the strongest legion of fans. Join HOT
