Staffnet (the Universitys staff intranet)

• launched April 2007 as our first staff intranet
• accessible to all staff at all campuses and other
  locations
• information presented in user-friendly way
  (rather than only accessible via individual
  support department web pages)
• the notices section replaced all staff emails
• external website has been freed up for use by
  external visitors
• new starters section feedback from new staff
  particularly welcome

A few quick and easy ideas for you to try

• check out your departments web pages and get
  them updated if necessary
• add an event to the website events diary
• post a notice on Staffnet to update your
  colleagues on a new development
• have a look at your department noticeboard does
  it need updating?
• supply a story for the Fountain staff newsletter
  (deadline for the Trinity term edition was 2 May)
• suggest an idea for a news release
• tell the External Relations Department about a
  former student who could be profiled in the Link
  alumni magazine or a student graduating with a
  story to tell
