What is required?

• Year 4
• Choose an area of veterinary science that
  interests you and at least one elective linked to
  this area
• Determine a suitable research problem that you
  can address through research during Y5
• Write a draft research proposal and submit an
  honours application form

• Introduction
• Research question, problem or issue and value
• Statement of aim and objectives
• Statement of methods
• Methods used to answer the research question and
  achieve aims and objectives
• Statement of ethical considerations
• Ethical implications and how these will be
  addressed

• Maximum 2 pages not including Gantt chart

Who will be my supervisor?

• Student nominations provided through the honours
  application form
• Discuss your project with potential supervisors
• Place them in order of preference
• Honours committee will review project proposals,
  check with supervisors and allocate
• Limit of 2 honours students per academic staff
  member
