2What our presentation is on
- We did our research on sandwich fast food joints
because we decided that since we eat at them
often, that we should know what are the best
options for us to eat to remain in good shape. - We divided our restaurants into two
subcategories Burgers and Non-burger options
such as chicken and Roast beef sandwiches.
3Burger Joints
- We concentrated our studies on three of the most
popular burger fast food places there are. These
places would be Mcdonalds, Wendys, and Burger
King. - Next, we looked at the nutrition of these places
and compared based on the calories, fat, and
other aspects which was the healthiest to choose
when you decided to go out for fast food.
4Hamburger
As you can see above, Burger Kings Hamburger is
the least healthy due to the fact that it is the
highest on the calorie, total fat, and saturated
fat categories. For the healthiest hamburger,
look toward going to Wendys since it has less
sodium, fat, and calories then the other two.
5Double Cheeseburger
The chart above shows us that there is a clear
choice not to make when deciding which double
cheeseburger is the best for you as Wendys is
clearly the least healthy. Both Burger King and
Mcondalds Double Cheeseburger has their
advantages and disadvantages, but I would have to
say that Burger King is a tad more healthy since
it has less calories, fat and saturated fat.
6Signature Sandwich
As You can see from the chart above, The Big
Mac is definitely the healthiest of the signature
sandwiches of the resturants. It has less
calories , fat, and cholesterol then the other
two sandwiches, and has only 20 more mg of sodium
then the whopper. We can also see from this chart
that the Baconator is the least healthy as it has
the most calories, fat, cholesterol, and sodium
by a landslide and the least carbohydrates.
7Conclusion on Healthiest Burger
- As you can see, Burger King, Wendys and
Mcdonalds all have their healthy options. The
Wendys hamburger is the best option, the Burger
King double cheeseburger is the healthiest, and
the Big Mac is the most healthy signature
sandwich.
8Non Burger Options
- Since not all people like eating a burger when
they go out for fast food, we decided to also
investigate other options people can eat. - Some of these options include Chicken and Roast
beef sandwiches. - The next few slides will show the nutrition
statistics for these sandwiches so we can compare
which is the healthier choice.
9Mcdonalds Chicken Sandwiches
The chart above shows us that the snack wraps are
definitely the healthiest choice when it comes to
Mcdonalds Chicken sandwiches. Between the Ranch
and the Honey Mustard Snack Wrap, The honey
mustard wrap seems to be a tad more healthy since
it has less calories, fat, and sodium.
10Wendys Chicken Sandwiches
At Wendys, The Crispy Chicken Sandwich is the
best option as it has only 320 calories, and 14
grams of fat, which are both less than the other
chicken sandwiches. The Chicken Club sandwich is
the least healthy sandwich as it has 540 calories
and 25 grams of fat.
11Burger King Chicken Sandwiches
Burger King offers these two sandwiches above for
chicken lovers. As you can see, the spicy chicken
sandwich is the better option as it has 9 grams
less of fat and 25 mg less of cholesterol as well
as 180 less calories then the Original Chicken
Sandwich.
12Roast Beef Sandwiches( Arbys)
The Roast Beef sandwich is another option besides
a burger that you can eat at fast food. The Ham
and Swiss Melt is the best option at Arbys with
only 6 grams of fat and only 275 calories. The
Beef and Cheddar sandwich is the least healthy
option with 20 grams of fat and 445 calories.
