8Registration
- User facility registers online with the
Department of General Services to use SDDS - DynTek creates a facility portal in the online
SDDS system for surplus registration that you
manage - You begin the registration of surplus items in
the SDDS system by individual item registration
or data import
Building Procurement Fitness
9Collection
- SDDS keeps you appraised of how much and where
items have been collected - DynTek only collects according to registered
items on the SDDS system for security purposes - After manifest verification and signoff, the
items are no longer the responsibility of the
facility.

10Validation
- DynTek technicians audit registration data for
accuracy in a secure configuration center. If
changes are made from registration errors, an
audit trail is created for you to review.
Building Procurement Fitness
11Evaluation
- DynTek evaluates the feasibility of either
reselling or recycling items. Both visual and
electronic testing techniques are used to check
an items level of worthiness.

12Sanitization
- Items identified for resale are cleaned and the
storage is formatted at a minimum to the VITA
ITRM standard. All markers identifying the item
back to the public sector are removed. Factory
software maybe reloaded and the item is ready for
resale to the open market. - Items evaluated for recycling have all markers
removed as well as the destruction of the storage
through a degauss/shred method. Device components
are broken down in raw materials and reused.

13Destination
- DynTek will sell items evaluated for resale and
will return 70 of the revenues to the
Commonwealth - An optional donation program is available
- Items evaluated for recycling are destroyed and
reprocessed in accordance to EPA and DEQ
regulations. - Returned resale revenues offset the cost of your
surplus project and the fees for recycling
