    Vitamin D. This is according to a new study just
    out.

Not getting enough Vitamin D can make you feel
bad.

  • Have aches in your muscles
  • Have weak bones

Where do we get Vitamin D from?
  • Milk and products made from fortified milk
  • Foods like sardines and other fish
  • Eggs have a little bit, and so does margarine.
    Some foods, like cereal, have added Vitamin D.

Why are kids at risk?
  • Kids are spending more time indoors, sometimes
    watching lots of TV or playing video games.
  • Kids are eating (and drinking) too much junk
    food, instead of healthy foods.

What can YOU do?
  • Spend time outdoors. Remember to get at least 10
    to 15 minutes of sunshine every day that the sun
    shines.
  • Drink milk every day. Milk contains Vitamin D
    and lots of calcium which makes your teeth and
    bones strong.

    Vitamin D, sometimes making them feel sick.
  • This problem could be solved by changing what we
    choose to eat and what we choose to do.
