  • The UC Project Management Institute is a
    Registered Provider with The American Institute
    of Architects Continuing Education Systems.
    Credit earned on completion of this program will
    be reported to CES Records for AIA members.
    Certificates of Completion for non-AIA members
    are available upon request (emily.montan_at_ucop.edu)
    .This program is registered with the AIA-CES
    for continuing professional education. As such,
    it does not include content that may be deemed or
    construed to be an approval or endorsement by the

UC/CSU ENERGY POLICIES
  • The UC Regents Sustainability Policy requires
  • new construction and major renovation projects to
    meet or exceed the equivalent of LEED certified
    (not required to document with USGBC - some
    campuses have opted to achieve document for
    LEED silver)
  • new construction projects must go thru the
    statewide IOU new construction program Savings
    by Design (SBD) and use Labs 21
  • new construction and major renovation projects
    must exceed the current Title 24 by 20
  • renovation projects with budget over 5 million
    (and budget approval after July 1, 2007) must
    meet the equivalent of a LEED-CI Certified level
  • CSUs Policies on Energy and Green Building
  • Executive Order 987 requires campuses to reduce
    energy use by 15 by FY 09/10 over base year
    03/04
  • CSU new construction targets 15 beyond Title 24
  • CSUs new Program for Environmental
    Responsibility (CSUPER) will be out in fall 2007
    and encourages but does not require LEED (some
    individual campuses are using LEED)
  • CSU projects are encouraged to use Savings by
    Design, LEED and Labs 21 but are not required to
    do so
