• Support the learning process Locally By forming
  Student Groups and help further enhance the use
  of GIS for students to be prepared for the
  challenges confronting them in the industry.
• Promote interaction for Specialists / Engineers
  In this vast and rapidly advancing field of
  technology, to share their experiences and
  improve the Local and Regional standards and
  practices in GIS.
• Form sub-groups For specific areas of practice
  such as Oil Gas, Petrochemical,
  Water/Wastewater, Transportation, Urban Planning
  etc.
• Asset Management Improve existing practices, by
  appropriate use of the spatial data and GIS
