- Support the achievement of and enable reporting
on the National - Goals of Schooling by providing MCEETYA with
advice on - Development of a small number of strategic
measures - Development and maintenance of Key Performance
Measures for national reporting - Areas where it may be appropriate to establish
national targets or benchmarks - Maintenance of the National Schools Statistics
Collection - Generating data related to the resourcing of
schools - Improved public reporting on student learning
outcomes

punctuation, mental computations - Two writing tasks at Years 7 and 9 (35 minutes
each), one task at Years 3 and 5 - New national marking keys for writing
- Two numeracy tests - calculator and
non-calculator
