    But weight comes back plus some. If you cant
    live it, it wont work. Exercise and choosing
    healthy foods is key to successful weight loss.

What is worKPHT?
  • worKPHT is an acronym describing a work fitness
    program developed by Kinesiology Department
    students in collaboration with faculty from both
    the Kinesiology and Physical Therapy Departments
  • (combines K from kinesiology and PHT from
    Physical therapy)

Purpose of worKPHT at CSUN
  • Gateway program to facilitate improved health of
    CSUN employees
  • Focus on staff who perform majority of their
    responsibilities sitting or are at lower fitness
    levels

How Can worKPHT be Applied to Those Outside of
CSUN?
  • People ranging from sedentary to very active can
    benefit from these exercises and stretches
  • Cooks, gardeners, construction workers, and many
    other careers involve plenty of physical activity
    but leave the worker often bent over or
    performing repetitive work

  • 8-10 strength training exercises at 8-12
