Past subjunctive - usage

• Wants and wishes
• When constructing a sentence, put the want or the
  wish in the first part of the sentence in the
  past tense (must be imperfect to be a want or a
  wish), use que, change of subject, and then put
  the second verb in the past subjunctive.
