Goals

• Want to gain basic knowledge of wide range of
  subjects
• To help students in the research
• Want to merge the many different topics
• Focus on the Oxygen aspect
• Reduce time to build an integrated app
• Focus on the APIs, User interfaces

The Details

• 20 Students some audits Limited Enrollment
• Everyone gets to borrow an iPaq
• iPaq will be running linux (not WindowsCE)
• No enough support staff
• Limit the damage of an untried experiment
• Projects
• A bunch of small projects
• One large project (done in groups)
• Good News
• No exams, no papers
• Bad News
• No textbook, no professional documentation

• Lets discuss meeting time
• Tuesday mostly lectures
• Thursday mostly specific help
• Lots of lectures by other faculty
