Torah Study 092907 Feast of Tabernacles Weekly
lesson from scripture readings from Torah- 5
Books of Moses Genesis, Exodus, Numbers,
Leviticus, Deuteronomy Haftorah- Joshua- Malachi
Brit Hadesha- Matthew-Revelation

The whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation is
Hebraic Scripture and Gods Inerrant Word
inspired by the Holy Spirit for humankind. There
is but one God, and one Bible for the Jew and for
the Gentle.
Ephesians 36 This mystery is that through the
gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with
Israel, members together of one body, and sharers
together in the promise in Christ Jesus. (Yeshua
HaMashiac)
Ephesians 310 His intent was that now, through
the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be
made known
3
Romans 1525-28 Now, however, I am on my way to
Jerusalem in the service of the saints there.
For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a
contribution for the poor among the saints in
Jerusalem. They were pleased to do it, and
indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles
have shared in the Jews spiritual blessings,
they owe it to the Jews to share with them their
material blessings.
4
Feast of Tabernacles The King and High Priest
lives among us. Gods power and purpose of love
and redemption! The Bible is the same for Jews
and the Gentiles. Christianity is the continuing
revelation of Judaism through faith in the
Jewish Messiah for Jew and Gentile.
Psalm 1307-8 O Israel, put your hope in the
Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and
with him is full redemption. He himself will
redeem Israel from all their sins.
5
Genesis 126-27 Then God said, Let us make man
in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule
So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God he created him male and female he
created them. Genesis 53 When Adam had lived
130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in
his own image and he named him Seth. Genesis
1819-21 For I have chosen him (Abraham), so
that he will direct his children and his
household after him to keep the way of the Lord
by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord
will bring about for Abraham what he has promised
him.
6
Redemption of Isaacs Descendants Redemption of
the other son Abraham loved! Redemption of the
Gentiles into Isaacs Family
7
Genesis 1718 And Abraham said to God, If only
Ishmael might live under your blessing!
Genesis 1719-27 Then God said, Yes, but your
wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will
call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant
with him as an everlasting covenant for his
descendants after him. And as for Ishmael, I
have heard you I will surely bless him I will
make him fruitful and will greatly increase his
numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers,
and I will make him into a great nation. But my
covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah
will bear to you by this time next year. When
he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went
up from him.
8
Genesis 1719-27 (Continued) On that very day
Abraham took his son Ishmael and all those born
in his household or bought with his money, every
male in his household, and circumcised them, as
God told him. Abraham was ninety-nine years old
when he was circumcised, and his son Ishmael was
thirteen Abraham and his son Ishmael were both
circumcised on that same day
9
Genesis 211-5 Now the Lord was gracious to
Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah
what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and
bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very
time God had promised him. Abraham gave the name
Isaac to the son Sarah bore him. When his son
Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised
him, as God commanded him.
10
Genesis 2215-18 The angel of the Lord called to
Abraham from heaven a second time and said, I
swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because
you have done this and have not withheld your
son, your only son, I will surely bless you and
make your descendants as numerous as the stars
in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. and
through your offspring all nations on earth will
be blessed, because you have obeyed me.
Genesis 255-11  Abraham left everything he
owned to Isaac. His sons Isaac and Ishmael
buried him in the cave of Machpelah There
Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. After
Abrahams death, God blessed his son Isaac
11
Genesis 2727-30 So he went to him and kissed
him. When Isaac caught the smell of his clothes,
he blessed him (Jacob thinking it was Esau) and
said, Ah, the smell of my son is like the smell
of a field that the Lord has blessed. May God
give you of heavens dew and of earths richness
an abundance of grain and new wine. May nations
serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be lord
over your brothers, and may the sons of your
mother bow down to you. May those who curse you
be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.
After Isaac finished blessing him and Jacob had
scarcely left his fathers presence, his brother
Esau came in from hunting. Isaacs heart after
he blessed Jacob by mistake, If only Esau could
live in your blessing!
12
Exodus 66-8 Therefore, say to the Israelites
I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from
under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you
from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you
with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of
judgment. I will take you as my own people,
Exodus 1314-16 In days to come, when your
son asks you, What does this mean? say to him,
.. This is why I sacrifice to the Lord the
first male offspring of every womb and redeem
each of my firstborn sons.
13
Leviticus 2339-44 So beginning with the
fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you
have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate
the festival to the Lord for seven days the
first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day
also is a day of rest. On the first day you are
to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm
fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice
before the Lord your God for seven days.
Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for
seven days each year. This is to be a lasting
ordinance for the generations to come celebrate
it in the seventh month. Live in booths for seven
days All native-born Israelites are to live in
booths so your descendants will know that I had
the Israelites live in booths when I brought them
out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
14
Deuteronomy 1421 Do not eat anything you find
already dead. You may give it to an alien living
in any of your towns, and he may eat it, or you
may sell it to a foreigner. But you are a people
holy to the Lord your God. Ezekiel 449 This
is what the Sovereign Lord says No foreigner
uncircumcised in heart and flesh is to enter my
sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live among
the Israelites.
Psalm 1307-8 7 O Israel, put your hope in the
Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and
with him is full redemption. He himself will
redeem Israel from all their sins.
15
Zechariah 1416-19 Then the survivors (Remnant
Nations after Tribulation) from all the nations
that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year
after year to worship the King, the Lord
Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth
do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King,
the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. If
the Egyptian people do not go up and take part,
they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on
them the plague he inflicts on the nations that
do not go up to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of
Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that
do not go up to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles.
16
Luke 167-75 Zechariahs Song His father
Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and
prophesied Praise be to the Lord, the God of
Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his
people. He has raised up a horn of salvation
for us in the house of his servant David
salvation from our enemies and from the hand of
all who hate usto show mercy to our fathers and
to remember his holy covenant, the oath he swore
to our father Abraham to rescue us from the
hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve
him without fear in holiness and righteousness
before him all our days.
17
Luke 221 On the eighth day, when it was time to
circumcise him, he was named Jesus
(Yeshua-Yahweh Salvation), the name the angel
had given him before he had been conceived.
(Salvation is through the Jews)
John 1010 The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy I have come that they may have
life, and have it to the full. (The Thief has
stolen Judaism from the Church through
Anti-Semitism and the lost the fullness of our
salvation)
18
John 1010 The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy I have come that they may have
life, and have it to the full. The Thief has
stolen Judaism from the Church through
Anti-Semitism and the lost the fullness of our
salvation) The Thief has stolen the Messiah and
His Church from the Jews by keeping them in the
chains of a righteousness of works when it came
to Abraham by Faith!
19
Does God gives birth to the Church on an ethnic
Jewish Holiday or on HIS Appointed Time? Has
God excluded the Gentiles of Faith from
Moses? Acts 1519-23 It is my judgment,
therefore, that we should not make it difficult
for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead
we should write to them, telling them to abstain
from food polluted by idols, from sexual
immorality, from the meat of strangled animals
and from blood. For Moses has been preached in
every city from the earliest times and is read in
the synagogues on every Sabbath.
20
Romans 1113-21 I am talking to you Gentiles.
Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I
make much of my ministry in the hope that I may
somehow arouse my own people to envy and save
some of them. For if their rejection is the
reconciliation of the world, what will their
acceptance be but life from the dead? If the
part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy,
then the whole batch is holy if the root is
holy, so are the branches. Romans 1124 After
all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is
wild by nature, and contrary to nature were
grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much
more readily will these, the natural branches, be
grafted into their own olive tree!
21
Romans 1525-28 Now, however, I am on my way to
Jerusalem in the service of the saints there.
For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a
contribution for the poor among the saints in
Jerusalem. They were pleased to do it, and
indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles
have shared in the Jews spiritual blessings,
they owe it to the Jews to share with them their
material blessings. Thank you Eastside for
sharing with us!!
22
Galatians 421-26 Hagar and Sarah Tell me, you
who want to be under the law, are you not aware
of what the law says? For it is written that
Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and
the other by the free woman. His son by the
slave woman was born in the ordinary way but
this son by the free woman was born as the
result of a promise. These things may be taken
figuratively, for the women represent two
covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and
bears children who are to be slaves This is
Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in
Arabia and corresponds to the present city of
Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her
children. But the Jerusalem that is above is
free, and she is our mother. The Jewish people
are suffering in slavery without Messiah!
23
Ephesians 24-13 Therefore, remember that
formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called
uncircumcised by those who call themselves the
circumcision (that done in the body by the hands
of men) remember that at that time you were
separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship
in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the
promise, without hope and without God in the
world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were
far away have been brought near through the blood
of Christ. The Feast of Tabernacles is a
TASTE of the Millennium when Jesus reigns as King
and High Priest amongst men. Gentile Believers
can join Israel as co-citizens and come nearer to
God.
24
Ephesians 214-22 For he himself is our peace,
who has made the two one and has destroyed the
barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by
abolishing in his flesh the law with its
commandments and regulations. His purpose was
to create in himself one new man out of the two,
thus making peace, and in this one body to
reconcile both of them to God through the cross,
by which he put to death their hostility.
(Before Messiah the regulations excluded the
Gentiles from equal access to these blessings.
Now these regulations are abolished giving the
Gentiles may freely and fully access the
covenants of Israel. (This is what is NAILED TO
THE CROSS)
25
Ephesians 214-22 Consequently, you are no longer
foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with
Gods people and members of Gods household,
built on the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief
cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined
together and rises to become a holy temple in the
Lord. And in him you too are being built together
to become a dwelling (Tabernacle) in which God
lives by his Spirit. Acts 21-41 The Holy
Spirit Comes at Pentecost   (Why associate the
birth of the Church with a Jewish Holiday?)  When
the day of Pentecost came, they were all together
in one place.. All of them were filled with the
Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues
as the Spirit enabled them.
26
Revelation 2212-16 Behold, I am coming soon! My
reward is with me, and I will give to everyone
according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and
the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning
and the End. Blessed are those who wash their
robes, that they may have the right to the tree
of life and may go through the gates into the
city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice
magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers,
the idolaters and everyone who loves and
practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my
angel to give you this testimony for the
churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of
David, and the bright Morning Star.

  • A Modern Parable
  • A foreigner to the US yearns to become a citizen
    of the US. He
  • risks everything to come into our country. He
    studies our laws,
  • constitution and culture. He learns to speak
    English. He teaches
  • His family the love of our people and our way of
    life He finally
  • receives his citizenship and all the privileges
    it entails. He has two
  • sons
  • One Son grows up and celebrates July 4th with
love and passion for His new country and
    Americans.
  • One Son despises Americans. He refuses to
celebrate its independence day and other
    Holidays.
  • Abraham
  • Loves both of HIS Sons
  • Ishmael and Isaac
