- Judaism was founded 3500 years ago
- It began in the Middle East, and was founded by
Abraham and Moses - Jews believe there is only one God
- Jews worship in Synagogues, and their spiritual
leaders are called Rabbis - The Jewish Holy Book is the Tanakh, especially
the first 5 books, which are called The Torah - There are 12 million followers most in Israel and
USA

- The Torah is the most important part of the
Jewish Holy Book - They are the first 5 books of the Tanakh
- The 5 books are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
Numbers and Deuteronomy - The other parts of the Tanakh are the Neviim and
the Ketubim
