17Alternate EligibilityDetailed Criteria
1 The student has an active Individualized
Education Program and the present level of
academic achievement and functional performance
data indicates that with regard to progress in
the general curriculum area under consideration,
the student is significantly delayed.
18Alternate EligibilityDetailed Criteria
- 2
- The students learning objectives and expected
outcomes in the academic area under consideration
requires substantial adjustment to the general
curriculum of that area. The students learning
objectives and expected outcomes in the area
focus on functional application, as illustrated
in the benchmarks, indicators, and clarifying
examples within the Extended Standards.
19Alternate EligibilityDetailed Criteria
- 3
- The student primarily requires direct and
extensive instruction in the academic area under
consideration to acquire, maintain, generalize,
and transfer the skills done in the naturally
occurring settings of the students life (such as
school, vocational/career, community,
recreation/leisure, and home).
20Alternate EligibilityDetailed Criteria
- 4
- The student is presented with unique and
significant challenges in demonstrating his or
her knowledge and skills on any assessment
available in the academic area under
consideration.

62Evidence Labels
- Evidence Labels tell the scorer the expectations
for the individual student so the evidence can be
accurately scored. - All areas need to be filled out on the Evidence
Label - Fill out accommodation

Evidence Labels Your scorer may not be familiar
with Special Education acronyms.
65Evidence Label

evidence, they are correctly labeled, and match.
66Evidence Label
- Make sure the Evidence Label is marked with the
Number of the Evidence Sample 1, 2, or 3.
67Evidence Label
- Explain the connection between the task the
student is asked to perform and the selected

indicator? - A Exemplary 113/281 40
- B Exceeds Standard 100/281 36
- C Meets Standard 49/281 17
- D Meets Standard or above 262/281 93

information in this learners folio? - A Exemplary 123/281 44
- B Exceeds Standard 76/281 27
- C Meets Standard 52/281 19
- D Meets Standard or above 251/281 90
93Summer Portfolio Review
- 1.All fields on the Evidence Labels must be
completed. - 2. A new area on the Evidence Labels is the KEY.
- 3. Accommodations the student uses needs to be
completed on Evidence Labels.
94Summer Portfolio Review
- 4. Data need to relate to the content area (i.e.,
math should be about math etc.) - 5. Data need to relate to the content indicator
- 6. Do not use percentages on work sheets use
the scoring key - 7. Not enough trials must have 5 trials
