• The creation of the blogosphere and the
  podosphere has created a new communications
  revolution that has not been felt with such
  impact since the birth of the protestant
  revolution. BIG WORDS! But think with me about
  that statement for a moment. Like Gutenbergs
  gift of the printed page coupled with Martin
  Luthers 95 Theses posted on the doors of Castle
  Church in Wittenberg, todays bloggers and
  podders are part of a similar revolution to the
  masses.

• The Church Planting Podcast will reach a large
  audience via its four basic components. Here are
  the components
• The Church Planters Podcast (Beginning in
  September 2006)
• The Missional Moment Podcast (Beginning in
  January 2007)
• The Church Planting Minute Podcast ( Beginning in
  January 2007)
• Within each of these podcasts, we will
  develop brief teaching, or training, modules that
  connect our churches to the Church Planting
  Village and the Church Planting Group. We will
  develop some podcasts that are only in specific
  languages, while others (should the content be
  appropriate) will be translated into various
  languages. Affinity groups will also be
  addressed in this effort, and perhaps, a national
  missionary would desire to publish a podcast for
  his ministry group.

• Pastors, Church Planters, and church members
  attentions are up for grabs for those wishing to
  reach them in a new way. Trust is being
  transferred when they read your blog or hear your
  pod. The ground is shifting so quickly that it
  is impossible to overstate the impact.

• The key is speed!
• Swarming is immediate!
• We Need a Blink of an Eye Medium!

• Wrapping It Up
• Our ministry world is rapidly changing and
  only those who have earned and continue to earn
  trust will effectively influence others. Blogs
  and Pods can earn that most fleetingly valuable
  commodity. So that is why we need to get
  started. Are we ready for the revolution? I
  think so! Lets join it. The advantage of
  blogging and podding is that it will compel us to
  live in the world of ideas and discussion, and to
  do so at the postmodern pace. It is interesting
  to note at present there is no great blogger and
  podder that has emerged with a distinctly
  evangelical worldview! When one does that group
  will have an enormous impact on the world. I
  hope it is the Church Planting Group, our State
  Convention Partners and NAMB impacting this
  medium together!
