Ongoing Events
Help the Homeless Stay Cool Many homeless
individuals and families who live on the streets
are in need of help to get through the hot
summer. We can help by donating unopened water
bottles, sunscreen, and pre-packaged food items
such as individually wrapped cookies and
crackers. The BRIDGE Committee will be accepting
donations for these items through the end of
September and will deliver the donated items
every few weeks to the City of Phoenixs Family
Services Centers.
Operation Noah Operation Noah was created
by Dennis Fries, a 13 year old from Chandler,
while he was undergoing medical testing at a
local hospital. While there he discovered there
was a need for something to comfort young
patients and nothing is more comforting to a
child than a soft, cuddly stuffed animal.
Brittany Levinson is collecting new stuffed
animals to donate to Operation Noah. Please
drop off stuffed animals to Brittany www.operatio
