Who is he?

• This is Simon Fraser. He sailed for the U.S.
  because that is where he was born. He joined his
  fellow explorer partners in 1801. He stopped
  exploring in 1818.

Where did he go?

• Simon Fraser explored Fraser River. Simon really
  was trying to find Columbia river. Now this
  river is named after Simon because he navigated.

Why did he go?

• Simon and his crew were exploring because their
  company wanted to expand. When he thought he had
  found the path he was looking for he really was
  wrong

• Simon Fraser ended up in a 520 mile long river
  and the trip lasted 36 days.

Did he or did he not succeed?

• At Simons point of view he failed, but really he
  succeeded because he discovered the Fraser river.

• Simon was in the fur trade.

• Simon Fraser a navigué pour les États-Unis
  dAmérique. Il y a commencé à explorer le
  Canada en 1801, et arrêté en 1818. La Compagnie
  Nord-Ouest lui avait demandé de chercher le
  fleuve Colombie, au Canada, en Colombie
  Britannique, parce que la compagnie a besoin pour
  développer le commerce de la fourrure. Parce
  quil cherchait une route pour explorer cette
  nouvelle région. Fraser trouve plutôt un nouveau
  fleuve, qui porte maintenant son nom.
