Our Planned Activities For The Week
  • Monday 18th May - depart from school at 7.30am.
    Be in the playground at 7.00am for passport check
    and to give personal medication to group leader,
    suitcase loading and an earlier departure if
    possible!
  • Flight from Stansted

    trip!

  • Arrive at the school playground at 7.00am
  • Depart from school by coach at 7.30am
  • Check in at Stansted at 8.40am
  • Departure at 11.40am (Ryanair FR314)
  • Arrive at Veronas (Brescia) airport at
    approximately 14.40pm.
  • Arrive at Bussolengo at 17.00pm
  • Room allocation and unpacking
  • 19.00pm Dinner and a meeting
  • After dinner entertainment

  • 11.35am - Trip on the Lake (Visit several towns
    on the lake)

  • 11.35 - Depart for Venice

  • Spend rest of the day at the Theme Park

  • Meeting outside hotel to load up cases
  • Depart for Verona at 9.00am
  • 9.30am In Verona to visit main sights
  • Leave Verona at 11.45pm
  • 13.05pm check in at Veronas (Brescia) airport
  • Depart 15.05pm (Ryanair FR315)
  • Arrive in the UK at 16.15pm
  • Travel back to school by coach
  • Arrive at Campion at 18.00pm
  • Students to be collected promptly please!

TRIP ON LAKE GARDA
  • After their Italian lesson, they will have a trip
    on the lake. Students will have the opportunity
    to visit some on the most picturesque towns on
    the lake!

Our day in Venice
  • After their Italian lesson, students will travel
    to Venice by coach and boat. They will have a
    tour of the centre of Venice accompanied by their
    assigned leader. They will have dinner in Venice
    and have the opportunity to see Venice at night.

  • After their Italian lesson, they will spend the
    rest of the day in Gardaland. Students will be
    provided with a map and must stay at least in
    groups of four. There will be a pre-arranged
    meeting area with a teacher on duty at all times.

Our day in Verona
  • On our last day, after breakfast, we will travel
    to Verona and spend the morning there. Students
    will have the opportunity to visit the Romeo
    Juliet house, the famous Arena and time
    permitting, they can also do some shopping! We
    will then travel back to Veronas airport for
    departure.

The journey
  • If you bring any entertainment for the journey
    or a mobile phone, it will be at your own risk!
  • The flight is only approximately a couple of
    hours.
  • Bring something to eat. Dont forget, Ryanair
    does not provide food, unless you pay for it!
  • Bring only one small drink for your journey to
    the airport as you will not be allowed to take
    any liquids through controls.
  • Only 15 kgs luggage allowance per student and one
    hand luggage. Any excess luggage will have to be
    paid for by the student. The school will take no
    responsibility for this. Please weigh your
    luggage!!!

  • The weather could be good or bad. You need to be
    prepared for both!

  • Dont bring your best clothes in case they get
    damaged
  • You need sensible walking shoes. Trainers would
    be ideal!

  • General toiletries including 1 towel for swimming
    (If there is a lifeguard on site).
  • One hand luggage (NO LIQUIDS!)

Money / Pocket money
  • Small amount of Pounds for UK airport only.
  • Euros sufficient for the duration of the week.
  • One big envelope with 4 smaller ones inside for
    each day. The amount in euros is left to parents
    discretion within reason!
  • Extra money is only for drinks, souvenirs etc.
    Between 10 to 15 spending money a day should be
    a sufficient amount.
  • Each small envelope must have day, amount and
    pupils name.
  • A 10 damage deposit will be collected from each
    student. It will be refunded on the last day of
    our trip if no damage occurs in their room or in
    the hotel!!

Phoning Home
  • You will be able to phone home from the pay
    phones in the hotel. You can buy pre-paid phone
    cards in England.
  • We will organise trips to the phone in groups.
  • NEVER leave the hotel premises on your own!

Mobile Phones
  • You may bring a mobile phone with you however be
    aware that
  • Whilst abroad you will pay for both incoming and
    outgoing calls and texts. Be aware, they will
    cost a lot more than normal charges.
  • We cannot be responsible for your phone. If you
    lose it, nothing can be done!

Behavioural Rules/ Health and Safety
  • Never wander alone and dont leave other students
    on their own.
  • If you want to go into a shop and buy something
    you must ask permission first. Dont just
    disappear!
  • Listen to instructions carefully.
  • Always meet your group leader at the set time and
    place.

  • Be polite and sensible. Remember that you are
    visitors in another country and that you are
    representing the school.
  • Look after your belongings. We will not be
    responsible if you lose money, personal property
    or mobile phones etc.
  • Chewing gum will not be allowed on the trip but
    you can bring any other type of sweets with you.
