  salad.

  represented in the American school system.
• Familiarity ranges from some to none.
• Language minority students lack access to
  academic opportunity.
• No Child Left Behind must mean all children.

Effective Classroom Management toReduce the

• It is important to present the curriculum in a
  way that a child can connect the knowledge with
  their individual life.
• Integrate multiple learning styles into the
  classroom.
• Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Musical, Logical,
  Intra/Inter Personal, and Naturalistic

• Celebrate Differences and allow for opportunities
  to learn from each other.
• Integrate culture-centered teaching strategies.
• Do not stereotype.
• Develop your own self-fulfilling prophecy that
  each child is important and are expected to
  perform at their full potential.

  their culture with the class.
