The Center supports the mission of New Mexico
State University by providing leadership in the
application of basic and applied science for the
effective management of water resources by
1) Enhancing excellence in water resources
research
2) Promoting educational opportunities for all
ages in water resources
3) Supporting information and technology
transfer programs
4) Providing expertise and assistance in public
service activities
