This is your life
  • "After 22 1/2 years my body has told me that it
has had enough of running and i have to pack up
for good .It a big change but I will be swimming
,cycling walking I had some great times at the
club , but its my time to pack in . I will miss
it , but I wish NHRR all the best for the future"
    From Russell

From Frank
  • Yes, there were times, Im sure you knewWhen I
bit off more than I could chew. But through it
all, when there was doubt,I cleaned up my spikes
and threw them out.I faced it all and I stood
tallAnd ran it my way.Ive run, Ive trained
and tried.Ive had my fill my share of not
scoring. And now, as tears subside,I find it all
so amusing. To think I did all thatAnd may I
say - not in a shy way,No, oh no not me,I ran
it my way.For what is a squirrel?, what has he
got? If not himself, then he has not.To say the
things he truly feelsAnd not the words of one
who kneels. The club records show I took the
blows - And ran it my way!
  • And now, the end is nearAnd so I face the
final Standalone. My friends, Ill say it
clear,Ill state my case, of which Im
    certain.Ive lived a life thats full.Ive
jogged along each and every highwayAnd more,
much more than this,I ran it my way.Marathons,
Ive done a fewBut then again, too few to
mention.I did a time I had to doAnd made it up
the Mall without exemption.I planned each
charted courseEach careful step along the
Stotfold bypass,But more, much more than this,I
    ran it my way.
