BOARD
  • Meeting with Senior Team in NRC
  • This was a meeting to make formal contact
although we mostly all knew each other. Should be
done annually at an early stage of the season.

6
BOARD
  • There is need for a survey of clubs membership
and facilities. This will be managed by the
    office and the Branches.
  • The purpose is to present the real picture of the
ACTUAL numbers of people involved in running our
clubs. The only membership figures we can show
    are competitor registrations.

7
DEVELOPMENT
  • There are two VOLUNTEER development officers,
John OKeefe and Mark Wickham, much of whose
efforts have been directed to the Dry Row
    programme.
  • The successful re-opening of Sligo Rowing club
illustrates the need for enthusiastic coaching
    members and separately, an administrative
structure for a club to get going well.
