The Nature of Concrete

• It is usually water tight, but it just doesnt
  look very nice, and
• Regular paint is not the right solution - it
  often peels and does not handle the alkaline
  nature of concrete or the inherent moisture in
  concrete.

• A decorative weatherproof flexible coating for
  exterior (and interior) poured in place or
  tiltwall concrete, stucco, and masonry.
• If waterproofing is needed then use
  ELAST-O-FLEX, our elastomeric coating.

Where to use Elast-O-Flex?

• On those buildings where waterproofing is also
  required.
• This is the key questionis waterproofing
  required?(If so, then ELAST-O-FLEX it!)
• Example Concrete block - it will drink water
  (rain), so waterproof it.
• Example Repainting an EIFS structure

Use Elast-O-Flex . . .

• Schools,
• Repainting EIFS buildings (hotels, office
  buildings),
• Box merchants that build with block (Circuit
  City, Walmart, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot,
  etc.), and
• Strip centers built with concrete block.

CT-100 vs. Elast-O-Flex

• CT-100 decorative (about 9.50/gallon)
• Weatherproof, but not necessarily waterproof.
• ELAST-O-FLEX waterproofing (about
  12.00/gallon)
• When applied according to specs, will form a
  waterproof membrane.
