Problem Statement
The purpose of this project was to locate the
optimal speed to travel down the Berlin
Turnpike.

• Two sets of data required
• Distances Between Traffic Lights
• Cycles of the Traffic Lights during the morning
  commute

• Working knowledge of simulation package
• ProModel

Test Performed

• Two different tests performed
• 1st Sent 1 car through system at different times
• 2nd Sent 1 car into system every minute for 2
  hours

Test 1 The faster one went, resulted in faster
time Utilization was not as good at the faster
speeds
Test 2 Results similar to Test 1, Utilization
was not as good overall
