6TAS Roles Responsibilities
- Work as part of a training technical assistance
team to proactively reach out to TYP grantees by
phone, email, fax or site visits (when approved
by the Program Manager and OJJDP TYP Coordinator) - Assess grantee training technical assistance
needs. utilizing TYP Needs Assessment instrument - Connect TYP grantees with various services of
EDCs Tribal Youth T/TA Center, including
teleconferences, web- based training, peer to
peer networking, and training opportunities
related to the five TYP program categories

12TYP On Site T/TA Request Process
- EDC Tribal Youth T/TA Center will review request
to ensure all necessary information has been
included in the request - TYP Assistance Request Form is then forwarded to
assigned OJJDP Program Manager for approval - OJJDP Program Manager reviews approves/disapproves
. - Program Manager forwards approved TYP Assistance
Request Form to Laura Ansera, TYP Program
Coordinator, OJJDP Office of Policy Development
for final approval/disapproval
13- Once approved by Laura Ansera, TYP Assistance
Request Form is emailed back to OJJDP Program
Manager and to Stephanie Autumn, Project
Director, EDC Tribal Youth T/TA Center - S. Autumn contacts the TAS assigned to the
grantee to review request - TAS contacts TYP Grantee and develops a T/TA
response plan and schedule on site T/TA

- What if TYP grantee has a T/TA request that is
outside of their assigned TAS expertise? - The TAS Team of EDC Tribal Youth T/TA Center will
be contacted to respond to TYP Grantee T/TA
request - If there is not expertise among TAS team, S.
Autumn will identify a consultant from EDCs

with appropriate expertise to work with the TYP
