  • Original Christian religion
  • Pope is the spiritual leader

  • Preferred Religion mainly in Northern Africa and
    the Arab countries (Saudi Arabia, Mecca, Etc.)
  • Worshippers are known as Muslims
  • Quran (Koran), written by Muhammad, is the
    scripture of Islam
  • Muhammad was founder in Mecca and Medina
  • Believe in one god, Allah
  • Go to mosque for prayers, sermon, counsel
  • Pray five times daily facing Mecca

  • Based on the concept of reincarnation

    East
