- How do I determine if a student is ready for
College Algebra? - Prerequisites for College Algebra state that you
must satisfy one of the following criteria - Credit with a final grade of at least a C in
MATH 010 Intermediate Algebra or equivalent. - A score of at least 15 on the FHSU mathematics
placement exam. - ACT Math and Science total of at least 40 with
neither score below 18. - If you need to take the FHSU Mathematics
Placement Exam, you must make arrangements to
take the test as soon as - possible. The Placement Exam does require a test
proctor and proctor forms can be found online at
www.fhsu.edu/proctorform. - Please send completed proctor forms toDr. Ron
Sandstrom, ChairMathematics and Computer Science
