3When you first get to class.
- Sit down at your seat and copy the agenda off
the overhead in to your planner. - Bring me any notes from the office if you are
leaving early or have an excused absence. Excused
absences should check red folder for make-up
assignments. - Turn in your homework in the blue basket next to
my desk. - Wait quietly at your desk until the late bell
rings.
4- All students are expected to attend school
regularly to get maximum benefit from class. - Illness is considered an excused absence from
school. All other reasons must be approved by the
school. - Excused students are expected to turn in make
up work the day after from returning to class.
Work due on the date of your absence is due when
you return.
Absentee Policy
Please refer to your student handbook and note
that excessive absenteeism will have a severe
impact on your grades and could lead to
expulsion.
5- If you are late to class
- Report to the front office.
- Give the secretary a note signed by a parent
explaining why you are late. - You will be given a pass admitting you in to
class. - If it is unexcused, you will not be allowed to
make up any work that was missed. - Beginning with the third tardy in a quarter, a
student will be given an automatic detention for
each tardy to school. Excessive tardies could
result in a parent conference and, if necessary,
suspension. See your student handbook for further
details.
6When can you leave this room?
- You must have the hall pass for bathroom, water
fountain, or locker visits. - Only one person is allowed to leave the room at
a time. - If you are leaving school early, a note must be
given to me BEFORE class begins. - Anyone who abuses this policy by wandering
