Go to your Apple ID account page and click Forgot Apple ID or password.
Enter your Apple ID, select the option to reset your password, then click Continue.
After you enter your Apple ID, you can see how to reset your password depending on the security features that you're using with your account.

Answer your security questions
If you know the answers to your security questions, select "Answer security questions" and follow the steps to reset your password.

Get an email
If you select "Get an email," theyll send an email to your primary email address that you can use to reset your password.

Use two-factor authentication
If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your Apple ID, you can reset or change your password directly from your trusted iPhone or Mac with a device passcode enabled.
Make sure that your device is up to date and using iOS 10 or later.
Open the Settings app.
If youre already signed in to iCloud, tap your name gt Password Security gt Change Password. Follow the onscreen steps. If your device has a passcode, you'll be asked to enter it, then choose a new password.
If you're not signed in to iCloud, tap Forgot Password on the Sign in screen. Follow the onscreen steps.

Use two-step verification
If you set up two-step verification, you will need your recovery key and a trusted device to reset your password. Follow these steps after you enter your Apple ID on iforgot.apple.com
Enter your Recovery Key.Choose a trusted device. We'll send your device a verification code.
Enter the verification code.
Set a new password and select Reset Password.
If you permanently lost your recovery key or access to your trusted device, you can't change your password.
