1907 October, Adolf Hitler fails his admission
test to get into the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.

Hitler was a corporal in WW1 He decided he was no
longer an artist and following WW1 sought to
change German politics.

Post WW1   After Germany was defeated in World
War I, they were forced via the Treaty of
Versailles to pay heavy reparations to the
victors.  Their economy could not take the
pressure and it fell apart.  Severe inflation and
depression followed.

Hitler told a depressed nation that they were not
defeated that in fact they were Aryans a super
race of humans that have been infected by Jews
and others. He told them that they were great and
they would conquer the world and return to the
mythical race of super humans
Most people at the beginning were interested in
Nationalism Pride in having a superior Nation.

In Apr., 1917, Lenin and others returned to
Russia after having been permitted by the German
government to cross Germany. The Germans hoped
they would undermine the Russian war effort.
Lenin started the small and cautious Bolshevik
party into action. The courses he advocated were
simplified into the powerful slogans "end the
war," "all land to the peasants," and "all power
to the soviets."
