• Fingernail to left eye
• Intense pain
• Red and tearing

• Cleared loose epithelial tissue and smoothed
  edges
• Inserted bandage contact lens
• Rxd Ocuflox oph and Acular
• Follow-up in 24 hours

• 46 y.o. female
• Referred from family physician
• Multi-system inflammatory disease
• Effects eyes, mouth, genital, and GI track
• Recurrent episodes

• Successfully fitted with gas permeable contact
  lenses
