  diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of disease as
  well as in the maintenance of health.

  tissues, and cells.
• They look for parasites, and other
  microorganisms.
• Match blood for transfusions, and tests for drug
  levels.
• They count cells and look for abnormal cells.
