To reduce morbidity, mortality, and disability
from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases
through education, prevention, rehabilitation,
research, and aggressive disease management

- Each strategic initiative must be related to our
mission - Strategic initiatives are developed annually at
the Strategic Planning Meeting every December - Each initiative may have several objectives
- The plan is made operational by the Annual Plan
of Work - Develop strategies around each objective
- Strategic Plan Plan of Work provide a blueprint
for the annual agenda that will guide leadership,
Board of Directors, annual budget development,
and administration
