• This city is a port city and has been since
  it was a city. It is one of the biggest deepwater
  port in the nation!
• Lafayette This state was first named Vermilion
  Ville then changed to Lafayette in 1884.
• New Orleans
• In 2005 a hurricane hit and their were
  million dollar damages! 80 percent of the city
  was damaged and thousands of people died!
• Shreveport
• There is a very big river in this city it is
  called the Red River. It goes from Louisiana to
  New Mexico!

  see landforms because it is a steep place and the
  water goes over places and makes landforms.

Tourist Attractions

• People like the Mississippi River because it is a
  beautiful place to see!
• One thing that people love to go and do is Mardi
  Gra because it is so mach fun! People have fun
  because it is like a party. You eat a cake and
  that cake has a baby in. If you get the baby you
  either get a prize or you make another cake for
  next year! It is very fun and maybe you could see
  how much fun it is!
• There is a thing called The French Quarter and it
  looks really cool. It is like a place that is
  sort of old fashion.

History

• In 1849 Bator Rouge became the state capital.
  They made a beautiful state building!
• The discovery of oil was in 1901. They were very
  excited and proud that they found oil!
• A very big hurricane came by in New Orleans and
  killed more than 500 people and it left horrible
  damage behind! That all happened in 2005 and
  still they are recovering from that hurricane.

Why I Used The Backgrounds I Used

• On the first slide I used purple and yellow
  because those were their team colors.
• For slide two I used bubbles because their state
  bird likes the sea.
• The third slide sort of looks like fog for
  temperatures.
• I did the fourth slide purple for there team
  again.
• The fifth slide is green because it is about land
  forms and that is like in forests that are green.
• The sixth slide is light blue like the day time.
• The seventh is grey and white like pictures back
  then were those colors.
