King Nebuchadnezzars Pride

• Daniel 430
• The king spake, and said, Is not this great
  Babylon, that I have built for the house of the
  kingdom by the might of my power, and for the
  honour of my majesty?
• Daniel 433
• The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
  Nebuchadnezzar and he was driven from men, and
  did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with
  the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like
  eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds'

What Should We Do?

• I can do it myself.

Scribes and Pharisees Disbelief

• Luke 520-21
• 20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him,
  Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
• 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to
  reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh
  blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
  
• Luke 523-24
• 23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be
  forgiven thee or to say, Rise up and walk?
• 24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath
  power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto
  the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise,
  and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

What Should We Do?

• Gods miracles do not happen today.
• II Timothy 43
• For the time will come when they will not endure
  sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall
  they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
  ears
• Gods miracles still do happen today.
• Ephesians 37
• Whereof I was made a minister, according to the
  gift of the grace of God given unto me by the
  effectual working of his power.
